Teewah Beach Adventure - Beach Driving Bliss!

This is going to be a relaxing beach weekend. While there will be some beach driving, this will mostly be about enjoying the beach and chilling out! 

Relaxing weekend on Teewah and DI. Friday morning drive up make camp and enjoy the afternoon. Maybe a trip to the lighthouse in the afternoon on the dropping tide. Or come up Friday afternoon on falling tide from 4:11pm Enjoy an evening listening to waves crashing on the beach and a chat around the camp.

Saturday head to DI Pt and setup for the day at lagoon. Swim, relax, fish if that's your thing. Maybe a game of beach cricket, or volley ball. BBQ lunch on the beach. Depending on beach conditions, those that want to head up to Rainbow Beach can to explore. Another chance to explore the Lighthouse also. Head back to camp (before high tide at 5) and settle in for the evening, happy hour of course.

Sunday sleep in, no need to rush as the tides are in our favor. Have a swim and enjoy the morning sunrise. Pack up and head back down beach on the falling tide. Option to stop at pub for lunch before catching ferry home. If you feel comfortable towing a van/trailer on the beach do so at own risk and be ready for fine nominations if you need recovering :-)

Please bring your own toilet as per QLD park rules. Showers are available at Freshwater Campgrounds (requires coins).

Book in your campsite in Zone 3.

Meet at BP Caboolture Nth Bound at 8:30am for a 9am departure.
