The Guzzler 2025
Expressions of interest are open to help at this year's Guzzler on the weekend, 19 July to 20 July.
This event is not a camping and drive event, this is a support event to ensure the safety of competitors.
We provided support to the event organisers in the following ways.
Staffing and running the Hell Hole Check Point.
Staffing Radio 1 & Radio 2 check points in the remote area of the course near Lake Manchester.
Satffing the party check point at Lightline Bush Camp.
Provide remote recovery of competitors from course when needed.
New this year, staffing the South Boundary Road Check Point.
Leland's Corner muster point.
The event for us starts at 6am meeting at the Park n Ride at The Gap at the bottom of Mt Nebo.
We cover the event from 6am Saturday to approx 12pm Sunday (around 30 hours)
You will need to bring your own meals and water.
There are portable toilets at various check points.
Swags or sleep in car. No trailers or tents.
Due to the hours that we cover, we need to ensure that people get rest and sleep.
Car needs to have room to transport competitors when needed.
Event not suitable for children.
No pets allowed as we are in a National Park.
If your interested or want more information, please email trip leader Matt Boyd.
