Kroombit Tops

Join us for a fantastic trip to Kroombit Tops National Park. Note, this will be limited to 6-7 cars.

We'll meet in Carseldine for a 7:00am start on 5 May. It's about a 6.5 hour drive. There is a free camp at Mungungo Pub, which has showers and toilets. It's a good idea to support the pub with a meal and/or drink! They are closed on Mondays but open the rest of the week.

We will do day trips from camp. These will mostly be Medium rated, with one being tougher and not for the faint hearted!

Please ensure you have all necessary recovery gear. It's recommended to carry enough water for the trip and spare fuel. (Last fuel stop is Monto.) 

Make sure to bring insect repellant for ticks and leaches, although it may be too cold for them.
