K'Gari / Fraser clean up raffle.

The event is held annually over a weekend with Four Wheel Drive Queensland affiliated club members and event sponsors volunteering their time to clean marine debris from this beautiful World Heritage listed island. Each year there are 350 vehicles and 700 men, women and children that walk the entire east cost of the island picking up rubbish. A distance of 122km.

Four Wheel Drive Queensland (4WD QLD) in collaboration with our partners in this venture, Queensland Department of Environment and Science (DES), Queensland Parks & Wildlife Service (QPWS), the Butchulla Aboriginal Corporation (BAC); do not receive government funding and therefore we solely rely on the generous support of our fabulous sponsors to ensure the event continues into the future.

Four Wheel Drive Queensland is the peak body representing 4WD Member Clubs (QLD) and their respective members. By advocating on behalf of our members, we aim to improve recreational 4WDing, protect the environment, encourage education and knowledge sharing whilst creating fun and active outdoor communities across Queensland
