2025 Annual Club Breakfast @ Bribie Island.

I had thought about cancelling the event, as the weather the day before was horrible, not what you want for a day at the beach.

I’m so glad I didn’t, because the weather was absolutely spectacular.

We arrived just after 7.00am, and there were a few people there already. A couple of people had called me on my way there to say they couldn’t make it, either due to sickness or they had made other plans. We did the traditional thing of wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year with lots of hugs to go around, as most of us hadn’t seen each other over this period.

The shops were close by for the traditional bacon and eggs and of course, a coffee or two. A few people brought food to cook on the BBQ’s, and one member even brought their own BBQ to serve their food on, you need to see the photo to understand.

The markets were on, and most of us at some stage went for a walk around them and probably brought things we didn’t need, yes Barb, another plant. The dogs of the club had lots of fun, especially Rollee and Heather’s little bundle of puppy energy. All I can say is poor Jess, I think she must have slept well that night.

A big thank you to Warwick who brought a platter with some yummy nibbles for us all to share whilst we caught up on all the latest news.

Thanks to everyone who attended, and I hope to see you at the same place, same time next year.
